Lord of the Rings Heading to Blu-Ray
Amazon is now taking pre-orders for a theatrical version only, Lord of the Rings Blu-Ray set.
Interestingly, the release currently has 690 1-star reviews. This is due to the fact that it only contains the Theatrical Versions, with no sign of the Extended Versions in sight.
I have a feeling that we’ll see another Blu-Ray release before 2011 when we see the Hobbit Released, and maybe another larger box set when both Hobbit films are ready to be released.
Peter Jackson Will Appear At Comic-Con 2009
With Neil Blomkamp’s District 9 set to release this August, everyone’s favorite director, producer, and all around geek, Peter Jackson will be making a stop in San Diego for Comic Con International 2009.
“The Hunt for Gollum” Released Online!
The incredible fan-film: The Hunt For Gollum; was released today online, to a wondrous, site crashing response. Directed by Chris Bouchard, the film portrays the events between The Hobbit and Fellowship of the Rings, when Gollum has escaped from Mordor, with Aragorn and Gandalf tracking him.
